Emilio Santana was born in 1983 in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Surrounded by the island’s lush landscapes and vibrant culture, he developed a love for painting early on. After studying Fine Arts at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, Emilio began to focus his work on scenes that reflect Dominican traditions and daily life. His bold use of color and expressive subjects have earned him exhibitions across the Caribbean and Latin America.
His art is recognized for celebrating the warmth, resilience, and beauty of Dominican identity.
