Payments and shipping

We work to ensure the steps of your purchase are smooth, secure, and transparent — from the moment you place your order to when the artwork arrives at your door.

Payment Methods

We use Stripe as our secure payment processor. At checkout, you can pay using:

  • Major credit and debit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

All transactions are encrypted and protected through Stripe’s secure gateway.

Artists and merchants are also paid through Stripe, ensuring quick and traceable payouts for every sale.

Shipping Carriers & Delivery

We partner with reliable shipping providers to ensure your artwork arrives safely and in excellent condition. Depending on the artist’s location, your order will be shipped through:

  • FedEx
  • UPS
  • DHL
  • USPS

Shipping is currently available to the United States only. For deliver to other countries, please contact us at orders@roots.art to arrange options.

Estimated Delivery Times

Most pieces are processed and shipped within 2 business days. You can expect delivery within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the artist’s location.

Shipping Fees

Shipping costs vary based on the artist’s location and the weight of the artwork. On average, fees range from $15 to $75 per shipment and are automatically calculated at checkout.

Tracking Information

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can track your shipment via the carrier’s website, which will be included in the email.

Insurance & Handling

For high-value artworks (over $1,000), a signature may be required upon delivery. While insurance is not currently standard, it may become available in the future for additional peace of mind.

All pieces are inspected and securely packaged before shipment. In some cases, you may find a personal note or appreciation letter from the artist inside — a unique touch that reflects their personal expression.

Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

You can request a cancellation or change within 12 hours of placing your order. After that period, your piece may already be in processing.

We accept returns or exchanges within 7 days of delivery for artwork that arrives damaged or incorrect. For more details, please see our Warranty and Returns page.

Currency & Taxes

  • All prices are displayed in USD.
  • Sales tax is applied based on the shipping destination’s state laws.
  • The final price, including any applicable taxes and shipping, is clearly shown at checkout before payment is confirmed.
